Marc Brunet carries with him over 20 years of combined
experience in the military, law, security, business and sales along with
executive management experience at both the mid and executive levels. During
his career, Marc has demonstrated to be an exceptional leader, and an accomplished
corporate strategist.
Marc was also a key figure in pioneering technology for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and was one of the first in streaming major sporting events to the Internet.
Marc has been working extensively with video-on-demand (VOD) and various other web-streaming technologies for the past seven years and is one of the few people to have done so. Marc is well known throughout the world with regards to web streaming content and for his vast knowledge and accomplishments in this new global technology.
For
well over 30 years, Mark Glanz has been involved with all facets of video
production; camera work, editing, directing and producing. He has completed
hundreds of TV commercials, training and educational tapes, produced a weekly
TV entertainment show, a weekly TV wrestling show, directed and produced several
sporting events such as PGA golf, tennis, football and more. Mark has also
been involved in the production of hockey, dating back to the 1970’’s with
the Montreal Canadiens hockey club.
Most recently, Mark has produced and directed the 2003 Curling Continental Cup and the 2004 Canada Cup. In being the president and owner of Glanz Technologies Inc., Mark brings with him over 30 years of successful business experience. This knowledge of profession and experience in the industry empowers MultiCast to provide its clients with the highest quality and attention to detail that comes only from years of dedication.
A
Certified Network Engineer (CNE) and senior systems consultant with over
22 years of experience in LAN/WAN architecture, network support and management,
combined with over 20 years in audio-video post production, Warren Seidler
adds to MultiCast the additional expertise and experience to oversee the
streaming and production projects.
Warren has designed, installed, managed, and maintained many large enterprise networks for firms including the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, BASF, Layton, Mead, Toro, and Siemens. Warren's production experience includes corporate video projects for the largest of customers including collaborations with KPMG Peat Marwick, Esso Interamerica, and Siemens Business Services. Warren's background and experience in networking and production projects and their management ensures a smooth operation and project completion with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Mr. Gervais brings to MCN 20 years of proven software
development experience. Mr. Gervais has been a senior software architect
for Nav Canada, Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks, General Dynamics
and CSIS. Mr. Gervais also spent 5 years as a college professor
teaching software and hardware design.
Mr. Gervais is in charge of developing the next generation of Web Streaming software. This new version will be available for multiple of platforms such as Microsoft XP, Apple OS/X, Linux, Unix etc. Mr. Gervais will also in charge of recruiting and leading a team of highly skilled engineers in the development of web streaming compression algorithm. These new algorithms will increase the throughput of future web streaming applications. As an independent consultant, Mr. Gervais has a proven track record of developing and delivering leading edge software solutions.
Mr. Gervais was also highly recommended to the company by numerous engineering professionals in the Ottawa area. Mr. Gervais is also an Instrument Rated Pilot and owns his own aircraft, a Mooney 201 which is both for business and pleasure.
Bob
has 35 years experience in both industry and government. His industrial experience
included design, project management with C-Tech Canada Ltd.
and finally Chief Engineer with Scannar Industries Inc. His
experience with C-Tech Canada Ltd. was in the military sonar
area while his work for Scannar Industries Inc. was in the
fishing sonar field. Robert spent the majority of his career with the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Security Service and then with the
Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
Bob has extensive experience in a wide variety of technologies. He has managed projects and programs through client requirement identification, system design, prototype development, testing, delivery, installation and implementation. He has trained users and maintained systems through their useful life cycles. Bob has represented Canada in international standard groups and forums within the international security intelligence community. He has also participated in setting standards on the application of technology, particularly in the telecommunications industry, both in Canada and the United States. Bob has a close working relationship with international Senior Engineering staff in both industry and government particularly in the security intelligence field.
Bob is a member of the Professional Engineers (Ont) with a BASc and a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
